The Colleqtive Retail Portal consists of the following resources:
In addition, specific Azure Logic Apps or Azure Storage containers could be setup for scheduling, or to support integration to your backend.
Using the build-in monitoring and notifications features, you can setup custom monitoring for the metrics that are relevant to your scenario. As with other Azure resources, it is possible to configure metrics and notifications easily in the Azure Portal.
For most metrics, we can easily setup notifications and alert rules.
Related to Azure Web Apps, we recommend setting notifications for Health check status and Average response time, or specific errors occurring (for example: 401 or 404).

Related to SQL Azure, we recommend setting notifications for DTU usage (metric to check if SQL Plan is still correct). But other metrics are available based on number of (failed) connections.
Notification scan be sent, based on specified thresholds. For example: 70% DTU usage will be sent as an email notification, but if 90% is reached, a TEXT (SMS) will be sent.
